The Adventure Freedom Foundation was established:
1. To aid high school and college students with disabilities in their learning processes and studies through the provision of tutors and special education assistants.
2. To assist individuals with disabilities in preparing for job interviews, searching for employment, learning proper job etiquette and in learning the job skills necessary to complete their job tasks satisfactorily.
3. To coach and support athletes with disabilities to learn and develop all the athletic skills required to participate in a wide range of athletic endeavours.
Our Mission Statement:
To be the hands and feet of Jesus to the marginalized in our community.
Some Changes are Here:
In 2023, the Foundation examined their impact and looked at their community and became concerned with how many disabled and marginalized citizens were homeless, or living with low income.
We decided to pivot our main efforts to providing food, clothes and personal hygiene supplies to the marginalized.
We continue to support individuals with disabilities to learn and develop life skills and the athletic skills required to help them achieve their goals and physical and emotional wellbeing.
Our Sponsors include:
Salvation Army, Sprouted Oven, Shoppers Drug Mart (2nd Harvest), Meridian Market, Cob’s High Street, Freshco, Superstore, Save-on-Foods, Costco.
We are thankful for our sponsors – together, we are making a difference.
